I've Booked My First Tickets For Eclipse - Have You?
I'm SO excited! Last night, I booked my first tickets for Eclipse online. I say "first tickets" because I will definitely be seeing it more than once (or twice... or thrice, for that matter) on the big screen. And what is even more exciting, is that I'm going to the 9:00 am show on June 30! Initially the release date for Eclipse in South Africa was July 7, but when I was checking the bookings on the Nu Metro site last night, much to my delight, there it was... June 30! On Monday when I get to work, the first thing I'm doing is putting in a Leave Form for that day. I can't WAIT! I'm even considering getting myself a t-shirt printed that says Team Jasper. No, you can't buy those here, so you have to get it done yourself. Sad, but true.
So tell me, have you booked your tickets yet? What are you most excited about seeing? Besides the Major on a horse, natch. Part of the reason that I'm going to see it more than once is because I suspect that I will not see much besides Jacksper on my first go around. Mmmmm... Jacksper... *stares off into space, drooling like Homer Simpson when he thinks of Duff beer* Sorry, I'm back. Speaking of Jacksper, I've been meaning to say this for a very long time now & I keep forgetting. I remember reading once on some random Twilight blog somewhere, that the person disagreed with people using names like Jacksper or Robward for the actors, saying that it confused the issue and took the actor's identity or individuality away or some such shit. Now, first of all, if it weren't for them playing these characters in the Twilight Saga, I wouldn't know who the eff they were and wouldn't really care either. Sorry, but there it is. It is because of the characters they portray, that I wanted to know more about the actors themselves. Hence the Team Jacksper name, because I love Jasper & I love Jackson... get it? Of course you do! And it sounds WAY better than Team Manwhore! Second of all, it's just an effing nickname! If you can't differentiate, there is something wrong & perhaps you should consult a doctor, or go back to school & ask your teacher for a refund. I don't know about the rest of you, but if I saw Robert Pattinson or Jackson Rathbone walking down the street, I would not seriously think it was Edward or Jasper and go up to them & ask what level of sunblock they are wearing, since they aren't sparkling in the sunlight. Just saying. Anyway, glad I got that off my chest. Sorry for the rant.

From 11 June to 11 July, South Africa is hosting the Soccer World Cup. Now to any Americans reading this, that may not mean much, but to the rest of the world, it's HUGE! Thirty two countries' football - sorry, soccer - teams are participating. The whole country is abuzz with soccer fever. So, since I'm feeling a bit patriotic, I decided to post some of my favorite songs by South Africans. I'm usually not a huge fan of SA music, but these are pretty damn good, imho. Temptation of the Naughty Muses
What is that, you're wondering? It's a collaboration of three blogs (The Twilight Muses, Darkest Temptations and Jasper's Naughty Girls). What are they collaborating on? A contest of epically Dark proportions.
Think of the possibilities of a wickedly dark Bella. She can finally turn the tables on all of those dark, dominant men who have done every possible thing imaginable to her in the world of Fan Fiction.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
Ever wondered what temptations dark characters crave? What about dark Bella, or Darkella as we call her? Is there anything that can tempt a dark Bella? Human or Vamp? She is one bad ass bitch, so what temptations out there lie that can bring her to her.. ahem... knees? Is her biggest temptation blood as a thirsty vampire or is it something darker? Lust, drugs, murder? In your Bella's dark world, what would be her darkest, naughtiest temptation? We want you to write about it. The darker, the better. So bring on the deepest, darkest fantasies and tell us what tempts your Darkella.
RULES:
1. Darkella (Dark Bella) must be the central character.
2. All Bella pairings will be accepted. Femslash is encouraged.
3. Length must be 2500+ words, no max.
4. Lemons are not mandatory, but will be gladly accepted. (we love smut)
5. Collabs are welcome.
6. You must be 18+ years to enter. Sorry but we are allowing smut so no minors!
7. Entry must be beta'd as we will be validating all One Shots for grammar and punctuation.
8. Human or vamp entries will be accepted. We don't care if she's alive or immortal, as long as she's dark.
We reserve the right to refuse any fic based on the above rules. We're happy to answer any and all questions or provide further clarification on the rules. We are pretty laid back, and the darker the better so bring your twisted to the table as we want Darkella at her finest.

I Needed Some Funny
So ends another work week, thank heavens! I can't even begin to tell you how glad I am that it's over. Work has sucked ass more than usual this week, and that's saying something. Anyway, I went searching for some funnies to post today and I went to the TwiLOL site, which I haven't been to in ages. If you haven't seen it before, you really should go check it out.
