Happy Holidays To Me! And To You All As Well, Of Course...

I cannot believe what I have just found! My Christmas has just been made! Allow me to explain...

All morning, I have had this song going round & round in my head - (Come Up & See Me) Make Me Smile by Steve Harley & The Cockney Rebel - don't know why, haven't heard it in ages. Then I got to thinking about my very favorite version of that song, which was done live by my very favorite band when I was young, Duran Duran. I'm sure I still have it on cassette somewhere, buried in my closet. If you don't know what a cassette is, please don't tell me, 'cause I will want to hurt you. ;) I digress. So anyway, I go on YouTube, thinking that I'll just have to post the original version of the song, but then I hit the jackpot...
This is Duran Duran performing (Come Up & See Me) Make Me Smile live at the Hammersmith Odeon in London in 1982... I still cannot believe that I found this...

Then I got to thinking about my very favorite Duran Duran concert, As The Lights Go Down, that I used to have on VHS & watched over & over (& over) again. So I searched the songs on YouTube & I found the whole effing concert! Recorded live in 1984 in Oakland, California, these boys were the best live act of that time, imho. If you've never seen these, do yourself a favor & watch them. It will be worth your while. My recs... New Religion, The Seventh Stranger, The Chauffeur & Careless Memories are all must see's. Enjoy!

As The Lights Go Down Part 1 - Tiger Tiger (Intro) & Is There Something I Should Know?

As The Lights Go Down Part 2 - Hungry Like The Wolf & Union Of The Snake

As The Lights Go Down Part 3 - New Religion & Save A Prayer

As The Lights Go Down Part 4 - Rio & The Seventh Stranger

As The Lights Go Down Part 5 - The Chauffeur & Planet Earth

As The Lights Go Down Part 6 - Careless Memories & Girls On Film

I hope you enjoyed the concert & I hope that you and yours have a wonderful, safe & blessed time this festive season, wherever you are.

Happy Birthday To The Delicious Jackson Rathbone

Happy 25th Birthday to Jackson! Hope he has a wonderful day! I found a few more pics from his birthday celebration on Friday night in Vegas, on Jackson Rathbone Online .

As always, click to enlarge. These are definitely better than the others! Some of those other pics were just... I don't know... does anyone know the band, Jethro Tull? That's all I'm sayin'! :P  Just kidding (sort of)!  ;)

Now watch this video! Jebus, this boy is F*CKHAWT!!! F*ck me! *I.AM.DIED.*

If You Love Geeksper, Check This Out

The lovely Keira (MaitresseSaint) has had a gorgeous pic of Jackson as her Twitter background for a while now, and I've always wondered where it was from. Then I got talking to Erin (VisionOfConflict) on FanFiction this week & she asked me if I had seen Jackson's movie, S.Darko. I said I hadn't seen it, but I decided to go to Jackson Rathbone Online to see how he looked in that movie. And look what I found... a big version of the gorgeous pic. *DROOL*

As they say in the infomercials... BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!
There were many other delicious pics & enough mouth porn to make your panties go *poof*. So enjoy the Geeksper show!

Forget JAction... how about some tongue action?

Then the glasses came off...

Jackson Rathbone does not approve...

This one is just... unf... *thud*

Pucker up for Geeksper ladies...

Although by this stage, judging by the pics I saw, he was Psychosper & he seemed to be growing mushrooms out of the side of his neck... eeewww! :P

Jackson Rathbone Celebrates His Birthday In Vegas

Jackson Rathbone celebrated his birthday at The Bank in the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas on Friday night. There were a few more pics here , but I chose not to post them, since they were doing a fairly good job of hiding the pretty (i.e. they weren't too hot, imho. That facial hair just doesn't do it for me... AT ALL! Makes me shudder & not in a good way. As I told one of my guy friends, just because you CAN grow facial hair, doesn't mean you SHOULD. After all, just because I CAN grow my leg hair, doesn't mean I WOULD!). So here is a pic of Jackson with another dude & one of his banana... cake, that is. In case you didn't know, Jackson turns 25 on the 21st of December. Happy Birthday, dood! Have a good one.

Also, I'm sure you all know already, but if you didn't know, 100 Monkeys have a free download of their song Keep Awake on their website. Click here to go to the link.
(* Note : The song is considerably more disturbing when you can't see the gorgeous Ben G smiling his way through it live. ;P *)

Happy, HAPPY Hump Day

Look what I found on Jackson Rathbone Online . Holy Hotness Batman! How appropriate that it is Hump Day, 'cause I know what I'd like to do to him... woof!

Here's another one, but it's impact is not nearly the same, I'm afraid.
Still smexy, though.

Also found an article about 100 Monkeys' new album, Grape.
Here's a quote from our boy, Jackson :
"We wrote songs as we caravanned cross-country, we recorded songs standing in piles of pillows in the middle of a living room, and we worked with countless amazing people to make it all happen," says 100 Monkeys' Jackson Rathbone.

Sunday 100 Monkeys Pic Spam

Here are some photos from the 100 Monkeys Grape CD Release Party at the Viper Room on 29 November 2009. All photos found on the always amazing Jackson Rathbone Online site. As always, click to enlarge. Enjoy!

Since I'm doing a post full of 100 Monkeys pics, I decided to share some of my own pics with you. There is a troop of Vervet monkeys that comes by my house almost every day. Most times I miss them since I'm at work, but when I do see them, I feed them bread, even though everyone says you're not supposed to. People always say "they're wild & they will attack you!". This has not been my experience with them AT ALL! They are beautiful & precious & so damn cute! I feel bad for them, because they are just hungry. They still go & forage for their own food, but I feel better knowing they've at least eaten something. I always make sure to never look at them directly, so they don't feel threatened & some of the braver ones even take the bread out of my hand. Some of them prefer to hang back, then I throw the bread to them & they catch it. If it lands on the ground, they actually dust it off with their other hand. They are amazingly clever & fascinating to watch. I always make sure I've got extra bread in the house, in case I see them. The other morning I was even a bit late leaving for work, since they saw me & came running up to me, making their little monkey noises, as if to say "Hey, we're here. Where's the food?" It is impossible for me to deny those little faces. They even jump up on the kitchen window sill & peep at me through the window, to make sure I see them. I find feeding them & just watching them while they are sitting there eating, to be so soothing & calming. One of the very best things about living in the part of South Africa that I live in!

Aren't they precious?
